Birmingham Jewish Community Care provides social welfare services for Jews throughout the West Midlands.

Services include the Andrew Cohen House nursing home with facilities for 59 residents, a day-centre with transport facilities, kosher meals-on-wheels delivered to homes and hospitals and a social work department.

The Rabbinic Board was founded in 1994 and is recognised by and under the jurisdiction of the London Beth Din and the Chief Rabbi.

The Board comprises of the Rabbonim of the Orthodox Communities in Birmingham and Solihull. It is responsible for the supervision of communal kashrut, the communal mikveh, Chevra Kadisha and other halachic issues of communal importance.
