Aleh is

's largest and most advanced network of residential facilities for children with severe physical and mental disabilities. Many children were born with congenital diseases or sustained brain damage at a later stage of life. Established in 1982 by group of parents determined to give their impaired children the optimal environment in which to grow and learn, Aleh today operates three facilities - in
Jerusalem
, Beni Brak and Gedara - for 500 children. Currently under construction is the rehabilitative village in the
Negev
designed specifically for the needs of severely impaired young adults over 21 years of age.
